Marc M. Jens is an Illinois State Police Certified Concealed Carry Instructor. The Illinois State Police have also certified his curriculum. He is Certified as a Firearms Instructor by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Police Training Institute Police Firearms Instructor Course. His experience training thousands of police officers will benefit both the novice and experienced shooter alike.

Personal Expertise

Marc is an Honorably retired Cook County Sheriff's Police Officer with over 20 years of service. For 10 years he was assigned full time to the Cook County Sheriff's Police Training Academy which trained Police Officers from more than Sixty (60) municipalities across the State of Illinois. He was the Training Coordinator, lead instructor and designated officer in charge in the absence of the academy director. His years of experience with firearms and personal instruction bring far more than the minimum required by the state.

Classroom Interaction

We encourage our students to ask any and all questions and share their experiences with the class and with us. We all learn from each other. We take our time to add the "personal touch" to ensure all our students fully grasp all concepts before moving on to the next one.

Ongoing Resources

We pride ourselves on providing  the highest quality, most complete, up to date training based on continuing input from our clientele, our professional association memberships and networking with other training professionals. To best accomplish these goals, we pledge to remain a continuing and ongoing resource for our alumni and encourage them to keep in touch and stop by frequently with any problems, questions or concerns. By addressing these issues as they come up, we constantly refresh our knowledge, to everyone's mutual benefit.

We will arrange to do individual and small group training. We will also arrange to do a "Ladies Only" class to increase comfort level and create a less stressful learning environment.Please call for details. We are available to do advanced individual or group training. Please remember that the Illinois Concealed Carry License Course is designed as a minimum basic training standard.
