How to Renew Your Illinois Concealed Carry License
When does your Illinois Concealed Carry License (ICCL) expire?
Make sure you check the expiration date on your license today because it may expire soon! Some licenses have started to expire already so be prepared to renew your Illinois Concealed Carry License.

An expired ICCL requires a 16 hour class.
In order to renew, you will have to have taken the Illinois Concealed Carry Renewal Class (3 hours). You will be given a certificate that you will need to submit during the renewal process.
How Much is the Illinois CCL Renewal Class?
The renewal class is $80 (includes range fee + 1 target [own gun]).

If you plan on using your own firearm, you will need 30 rounds of ammunition. If you have multiple magazine for your weapon preload 10 or 5 depending on the capacity of your magazine. No more than 3 magazine will be needed.
If you wish to use our firearm, please pay the additional maintenance fee of $10.00, which includes the ammunition and preloaded magazines.

What Will the Class Will Cover?
2 Hour Classroom
All applicable State and Federal laws relating to the ownership, storage, carry, and transportation of a firearm. In addtion:
- Instruction on the appropriate and lawful interaction with law enforcement while transporting or carrying a concealed firearm.
- Instruction on prohibited areas and the parking lot exception.
- We will covers new laws, review F.O.I.D. act, use of force, in defense of a person, dwelling, of other property, unlawful use of weapons.
- Must define dwelling, aggressor, forcible felony and unlawful use of weapons pursuant to the ILCS.
1 Hour Range
- We will cover handgun fundamentals, handgun concealment, live fire qualification with a concealable firearm consisting of minimum of 30 rounds.
- 10 rounds at 10 yards, 10 rounds at 7 yards, 10 rounds at 5 yards.
What Else Do I Need to Renew a Concealed Carry License?
